ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says northbound I-69 Exit 302 will soon be closed for several weeks as improvement work continues on the interstate.

INDOT crews say on or after April 25, the ramp at Jefferson Boulevard will close for concrete patching and joint repair work happening along I-69. The ramp will be closed for about three weeks, the department says, noting that all work is weather-dependent.

Drivers looking to access U.S. 24 and Jefferson Boulevard during the closure are asked to continue north on I-69 to Exit 305, exit the interstate, and then re-enter I-69 heading south to use southbound I-69 Exit 302 or take a different route, INDOT says.

At the beginning of April, the department announced drivers should expect alternating lane closures along the interstate in Allen County for concrete patching and joint repair throughout the year.
