The process of the investigation in the days and months following the 49-year-old woman's disappearance has been carefully protected by the Chaffee County Sheriff's Office, which is the lead agency in the case. With no solid leads in the case, and no arrests made, Suzanne's disappearance has captured the nation's attention.

As local Fox News affiliate KXRM Colorado Springs reports, a private time team specializing in water recovery, will now search bodies of water between Salida and Denver in the hope of finding some answers.

Local Fox News anchors for KDVR Denver spoke to the dive team ahead of their search for Suzanne Morphew, who shared some insight into their methods.

"We first start with sonar in a lot of these locations, scan it, side scan down, scan 360. And if we identify something, then we suit up and then we get in the water and then we investigate even further to identify guesses 100%," said Jared Leisek.

Leisek and his team from Adventures with Purpose, who have a massive following online through a YouTube channel, travel across the country recording video of their dives.

"We do have 18 million viewers a month and a lot of them are law enforcement. And we have a lot of law enforcement that has reached out. 'Hey, if you need a lead liaison, if you want to come to our state, our town, our community, we welcome you,'" Leisek said.

Earlier this week, the experienced dive team recovered the body of a missing person in Iowa.

As the months since the Chaffee County woman's disappearance have dragged on, with very little clues despite her older brother's extensive six-day search back in September, husband Barry Morphew, 52, continues to face increased scrutiny over his whereabouts on the weekend she vanished.

Now, Leisek has weighed in on Barry's movements, confirming his dive team will search bodies of water near to where Suzanne Morphew's husband was working on a landscaping project in Denver at the time.

"One of the things that people keep coming back to is Barry, you know, he was very wet. He had the hotel room," Leisek told KDVR. "There are three ponds that are near that. We're also dealing with the mine shaft, also dealing with some of the hunting grounds."

As the Daily Mail reports, Barry Morphew, 52, gave an explosive interview earlier this month regarding his wife's case, claiming he now believes she was abducted after first theorizing that she had been attacked by a mountain lion while out riding.

Barry - who has offered a $100,000 reward for Suzanne's safe return - previously theorized that his wife may have been taken by a wild animal. He now says he believes she was abducted.

In an interview with CBS News in early October, Barry Morphew made the abduction claim for the first time, also hitting out at Suzanne's brother, Andy Moorman, after he implicated him in her disappearance.

The father-of-two, who has offered a $100,000 reward for his wife's safe return, also shared never-before-seen photos and love notes exchanged between the couple.

"Just want you to know – my life would be nothing without your love and the excitement you bring to our marriage and my life. All my love – Suzanne," reads a love letter she wrote to her husband in February for Valentines Day.

Barry Morphew has since put the family home in Salida on the market, revealing his two daughters were terrified to return to the house after their mother vanished.

Suzanne's daughters started a GoFundMe page to aid in the search for their mom, which has so far raised more than $33,000.

Suzanne, 49, disappeared on May 10 and Barry said believes she was abducted. He told CBS4 that his daughters are terrified to return to the house, and the family has been renting a home nearby for the last several weeks.
