Copa America comes to the U.S. – How to live stream the matches on iPhone, Android, Roku, PS4, more.

Copa America, one of the most widely viewed sporting events in the world, starts on June, 3. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the soccer tournament making it the oldest international continental soccer tournament.

For the first time, the Copa America will be hosted outside of South America, with the tournament taking place in the U.S. This will be the biggest and most prestigious soccer tournament that the U.S. has hosted since the 1994 FIFA World Cup. 16 teams, including Argentina, Brazil, the U.S. and reigning champions Chile, will take part in the tournament.

We look at the various ways you can live stream the Copa America tournament without cable.

Cord cutters rejoice

If you are looking for ways to legally watch the Copa America tournament without a cable subscription CutCableToday offers the following two solutions:

Sling TV

In mid-April Sling TV and the FOX Broadcasting Company came to an agreement to introduce FOX channels into Sling TV’s basic package. FOX channels included in the basic Sling TV package includes FS1, FX, regional FOX Sports networks, TBS, TNT, AMC, and in some locations FOX’s main network channel.

With access to these channels, you can watch the majority of the Copa America tournament without cable. You can sign up for a Sling TV subscription for just $20, with no contract, per month.

You can watch Sling TV on a variety of devices including your iPhone, iPad, Android devices, PC or Mac. You can also use a streaming media player, like Roku, Amazon Fire TV and the Fire TV Stick, Xbox One, or Chromecast.

With Sling TV’s 7-day free trial you can check out the first week of the Copa America tournament starting on June, 3 at no charge.

Tip: If you want Spanish commentary on Sling TV for Copa America you can pay an extra $5 per month and get access to the Sport Extra package. In addition to eight other channels, you will also get access to Univision Deportes that will offer Spanish Copa America streaming.

PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue is an alternative option to watch the Copa America tournament. Vue’s Slim package includes access to  FS1, FS2, FX, TNT, ESPN, ESPN2, TBS and in some locations FOX’s main network channel.

You can watch PlayStation Vue via your PS3, PS4, iPhone, iPad, or on your TV through a streaming media player, like Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick or Chromecast.

PlayStation Vue’s Slim package is $30 per month. Vue also offers a 7-day free trial, so you can watch the first week of the Copa America tournament at no charge.

Live stream the entire Copa America tournament with FOX Soccer 2Go

If you are an avid soccer fan then you probably already have a subscription to FOX’s standalone streaming service – FOX Soccer 2Go. If not then this is a great solution for any dedicated soccer fans as FOX Soccer 2Go will stream the entire Copa America tournament as well as various other large tournaments during the rest of the year.

In addition to Copa America, you can also watch coverage of the FIFA World Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Euro 2016 qualifiers, and more. FOX Soccer 2Go does not give you access to other FOX stations but does include a broad range of soccer and some rugby matches.

There are apps for both Android and iOS while you can also enjoy FOX Soccer 2Go on your PC, MAC, and via AirPlay on your Apple TV.

A FOX Soccer 2Go subscription costs $20 per month. You can also sign up for a year and pay $100, which works out to a discounted monthly rate of $8.33 per month.

Chile hosted the 2015 tournament and went on to become champions when they beat Argentina 4 – 1 on penalties. Hopefully, the 2016 tournament will see the same result for the U.S.
