Kozhikode: Amidst the scorching heat of summer, fans experienced a refreshing wave of love and excitement as actor Tovino and the 'Nadikar' team descended upon the beach for a promotional event. The occasion, which served as a curtain-raiser to the movie's release on May 3, saw enthusiastic participation from fans and cast members alike.
Accompanied by actors Balu Varghese, Chandu Salimkumar, producer Alan Antony and Anto Joseph, Tovino engaged with the crowd in a lively interaction. Venturing into the audience, he graciously posed for photos and videos, while some fans showcased their artistic talents by presenting drawings of the actor.
The event, organized jointly by Mathrubhumi Events and Club FM, captivated the youth with its blend of entertainment and interaction. M C Couper and Baby Jean kept the atmosphere cool with their musical performances, while Tovino distributed prizes to competition winners as well.
Expressing his gratitude amidst the cheers of the crowd, Tovino shared, ‘Very happy. The love Kozhikode gives is boundless. I have been to the beach many times for film shooting and not. Each visit fills the mind.’
Adding to the excitement, songs from the movie 'Nadikar,' directed by Lal Junior, were released during the event. The audience joined in singing along to popular tracks like 'Naazhikakkallukal, kinaavukal…’
Following the success of 'Honeybee' and 'Driving Licence,' directed by Lal Jr., 'Nadikar' promises to be another blockbuster. Produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Alan Antony, and Anoop Venugopal under the banners of Godspeed Cinema and Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Tovino Thomas in the central role of superstar David Padikkal. Mega Media will handle the film's distribution.
The event also saw the presence of Mathrubhumi Director (Operations) Devika Shreyamskumar, General Manager (Public Relations) K R Pramod, and other distinguished guests, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
